The cottage has a pantry, scullery and open plan kitchen with a small lounge. The kitchen is equipped with microwave, kettle, toaster, 2 x gas stoves and hobs. The chest freezer is gas and there are 3 inverter 220V fridges. There is a TV (with DSTV and router.) Please do not touch the wiring or satellite in any way. Carport parking is available for 4 cars.
Dolittle Cottage is load shedding free and now operates on solar.
Rates
NEW 2026 RATES
- Low Season R 2250/night up to 10 people and R225 per person thereafter, max of 16 people.
- Mid-Season R3150/night up to 10 people and R315 per person High Season (ie Christmas/New Year and Easter) R3150 up to 10 people and R315 per person thereafter, max 16 people.
The above rate excludes staff –
The washing machine and tumble drier should be used during the day only.
Staff R 275 each.
Additional Information
Either or both of the domestic workers, Ivy or Caroline must be employed @ R275 each. Michael helps around the outside of the house and also acts as a guide and gilly when requested. Tobile is the night watchman.
