Main House:

• 3 Bedrooms (2 double beds + 2 single beds)
• 1 Bathroom (Toilet, bath and shower)

Flat:   

• 2 Bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen, plus 1 or 2 singles) Downstairs With 1 Bathroom (Shower + toilet)
• 1 Bedroom (Queen + 2 singles) Upstairs With 1 Bathroom (Shower + toilet)

The cottage has a pantry, scullery and open plan kitchen with a small lounge. The kitchen is equipped with microwave, kettle, toaster, 2 x gas stoves and hobs. The chest freezer is gas and there are 3 inverter 220V fridges. There is a TV (with DSTV and router.) Please do not touch the wiring or satellite in any way. Carport parking is available for 4 cars. 

Dolittle Cottage is load shedding free and now operates on predominately solar backup up by the generator.

Additional Information

Either or both of the domestic workers, Ivy or Caroline must be employed  @ R200 each. Michael helps around the house and handles the generator and diesel and also acts as a guide and gilly when requested. Tobile is the night watchman.

Daily rate for fuel is R 200 per day based on a maximum of 3hrs per day. The generator is used mainly for backup and for the washing machine and tumble drier. Please confirm with Michael how much diesel was used. You will need to call me on completion of you holiday and I will refund any excess payment for diesel. Our diesel rate is current plus R3 per litre.
